Cardiovascular

The cardiovascular system, also referred to as the circulatory system, is a network of organs and vessels that are responsible for the movement of blood around the body and the delivery of oxygen, hormones and nutrients to and from the body’s various tissues. The cardiovascular system works in partnership with the primary functions of the pulmonary system and the two systems are often addressed simultaneously during clinical assessment and treatment.
