Welcome the Neuropathology review section
Neuropathology is the umbrella term for all diseases and conditions that have adverse implications on the nervous system. What makes neuropathology difficult to study is the characteristic that many of the disorders are not isolated to one anatomical structure or set combination of symptoms. Instead, several pathologies have the ability to impact either one anatomical area alone, in whole or in part, or may impact several areas at once, again each in their entirety, in part, or in some combination of the two. (eg. Stroke)
For this reason the EPE team has grouped various pathology based on key characteristics to assist in clearly compartmentalizing you study session and more easily retain the information.
